I'm a female in my 60s no longer earning a living.  I decided a while ago that my mind needed some stimulation and I considered that learning sign language might be just the thing.  PLUS, I thought, it could potentially be something that I could use in my local community to help others - if I can get  reasonably efficient at it of course!  I've started working my way through the on-line BSL course and finding it enjoyable.  But it's early days and I realise how long it's going to take...

      Hi  everyone, this is my first post on the forum.  I work as part of the Front of House Team in a theatre and I am interested in learning some sign language to be able to communicate more easily with the many members of the deaf community who come to the theatre. So far I am doing ok in the comfort of my own home but under pressure I get flustered.  Does anyone else find the same problem? I think a lot is down to constant repetition and practice.

      Hello everyone 🙂 I'm Layne. I am about to take my BSL202 and BSL203 at the start of next week 😬 I luckily passed BSL201 last week 😌 I am based in India so it is tricky to find people to practice with. If anyone is up super early in the UK and looking for someone to converse with I am 5.5 hours ahead so will be around! Thank you 🙏
