Hello Everybody!
I am glad I found this site. I have always been interested in Deaf Culture and Sign Language. In High School my best friend who dreamed of becoming an interpreter taught me some sign language so we could talk in class...lol. Ever since I have been trying to learn more. Only thing is that there are not many deaf people around me and she eventually moved away. The other day I saw a customer struggling to communicate because their phone wasn't charged and they couldn't text. I was able to help a little but I knew I could have been a better help if only I had practiced more. This led me here. I hope to sharpen my skills and meet some awesome people.😊
