Hi, my name is Triceta. I am 30 years old. I am Deaf, I lost my hearing in 2023, but I have been signing for 13 years, I took ASL in highschool and just continued signing. I immersed myself in the deaf community, wanting to learn more and to practice the skills I had. Fast forward to 2020, I started having double ear infections and kept complaining of the pain, but nothing was ever done. By the time I saw a doctor who would listen to me and consulted with an ENT specialist, my hearing had already diminished in both ears.

Hi Triceta,

I am 65 and hard of hearing.  I wear a hearing aid in one ear and am profoundly deaf in the other.  Would you be interested in video chatting with me (preferably voice off)?  I have some conversational skills in ASL and the only way I will improve is learning from others.   Thank you.

Great.  I work weekdays until 4 pm CST so anytime after 5 works for me.  Just give me a shout.  Looking forward to it!  Thank you

Hi, not sure if I'm doing this right for introductions.. I've been trying to learn sign for long time.. Have issues learning new stuff in general, Autistic adult, 47..decided it was time to just keep trying.. Some call me Catt, others call me Jo..whichever.. definitely want to learn sign and get on the path should've been on long ago; for friends, maybe part time work and love of the language, since I was a young kid.. Still in very beginning stages and have trouble not understanding finger spelling, but being able to make it a word in my head, have to write each letter down as signed to see it I guess.. learning on lingvano app..
