I work for a creative ageing organisation called Autumn Voices:

We are a digital magazine and growing online community for people aged 60 or over, and we celebrate and support creative and positive ageing. Our February theme is 'love languages', so we’d love to include a blog about an older person's love of sign language. And, as March is Hearing Loss Awareness Month, and older people are statistically more likely to experience hearing loss, we'd also love to include voices from the d/Deaf Community then too.
Are any of you aged 60 and over, and interested in writing a short blog for us? We'd be looking for something from a d/Deaf person or a person who is fluent in/teaches BSL, to write something about that experience - either about love of BSL as a language, how you first learned it or decided to teach it to others, or about how you express yourself creatively through sign language - or both! We'd be looking for around 1000 words and a short bio of the person writing the blog.
Unfortunately, we cannot offer a fee - we are a sparsely funded social enterprise, currently running a Crowdfunder to raise core monies before we become a charity and are eligible to apply for certain funding.
