Hi, my name is Louise and I've just started learning BSL these last few weeks. I learnt some simple signs when I was in school and always wanted to expand on it but never found the time but now I'm working from home it felt like the perfect opportunity.
I work in events so a lot of my job (pre-pandemic) involved meeting and interacting with a large variety of people and I just felt having a good knowledge of sign language and how to communicate with the deaf community would be extremely useful to my job.
