Hi Rhoda, Thanks for the message of support and sorry to hear you have had to go back into part time work. I did my first bit of actual signing on Saturday in the pub with the son of a mate, his son is partially deaf and signs - i think he appreciated the effort even though i wasn't that good but the look of amazement on his Dad's face and the rest of the lads was encouragement enough for me to persevere. Keep it going Rhoda and i will even let you off for referring to us as "oldies"

I've recently retired and I've always wanted to learn a new language and I thought BSL would be perfect. I've just started the course and I'm finding it both interesting and challenging
