As well as having significant hearing loss & wear dual aids; I'm a specialist SEN teacher who has had a passion for inclusion in alternative as well as mainstream education. BSL has always been an amazing form of communication to me & I'm finally getting around to it after a 7 year hiatus.

Hi everyone, my name's Sam. I was due to take BSL Level 1 7 years ago when unexpectedly found out I was almost 7 months pregnant & the course provider couldn't seem to bring my exam forward by a few months! Fast forward to now & I'm finally getting around to it! I also have reverse slope hearing loss & wear hearing aids so even more important to learn another form of communication!!
