I am a teacher and am interested in being able to support any students I encounter who use BSL but also as a skill for potentially applying for roles that involve working with deaf pupils.

Hi everyone, my name is Hannah and I have recently started learning sign language. I knew a little already as when I was a child, my primary school had a hearing impaired unit and I had several friends who were deaf. They taught me some basic signs, the British alphabet and also the American alphabet. I am learning BSL now as I feel like it is a wonderful skill to have and something that I might be able to use in the future as I am a primary school teacher.
