Hi, I'm Laura. I've always wanted to learn sign language ever since we had someone attend my nursing training that was deaf and taught us a few signs. I learnt baby sign language with my daughter and have wanted to learn BSL but didn't have the time. I work in the NHS and try to improve the services we deliver in our department. One population of people we do not serve well is the deaf community and I would like to learn BSL so that I can work with them to make improvements.
