I've just completed the brilliant online introductory BSL course and I'm eager to keep practising and continue to develop. I work in a high school, supporting Year 10 pupils in the Additional Learning Needs department. We only have one hearing impaired child but Wales will soon add BSL to its GCSE options. I'm eager to find out where I can get resources and continue my learning to further support my students. Any advice and suggestions would be profoundly welcome. Diolch!

Hello everyone! I'm Andy I'm an HLTA4 at a high school in Cymru, working with the Year 10 students who have Additional Learning Needs. I've been building on my knowledge of autism, ADHD, dyslexia and other conditions, though I've never worked with any Hearing Impaired students. One of our Year 7 intake is HI, and Cymru is introducing BSL as a GCSE in a few short years so I thought it best to be prepared. It's also just a genuinely cool thing to learn BSL, to boost accessibility and inclusion, as well as understanding and appreciation. I'm only three lessons in but I'm highly motivated!
