Hi everyone, name me what, Jeff. I've been using basic BSL (fingerspelling) on and off for over 10 years and have now decided to try and gain a qualification in BSL. I would to work one day within any sector that requires BSL. My desire to do BSL started when I worked at a pharmaceutical company and we had colleague that was deaf. The company didn't have the correct alarm system in place, so we asked for a flashing light to be installed within her area of work and a device that would vibrate that she could keep on her person in case of of an emergency. The company also threw in a basic BSL course, and that's where it all started for me.
