I’m Shiona. I’m currently on my BSL learning journey for the second time. I started a few years ago but life and a baby happened and I stopped my learning.
I currently don’t have use for BSL in the sense that I don’t know or generally meet anyone in which I would need to use it, but I feel that should that time ever come it’s only right that I’m prepared. It something I wish would have been mandatory when I was back in school.
I’m always open to making new friends, a lot of my time is taken up with work and my home life so I’m not going to lie, I don’t particularly have all that many!
I’m a complete novice with BSL right now, and I’m quite anxious to use it in RL rather than in front of a mirror but if you have patience I’d love to chat! Whether you’re a novice too or an expert.
