Hi everyone I'm Danna. I live in London. I’m a polyglot. I can speak 8 languages.
I work as an ESOL teacher. I had a lovely encounter with 2 lovely gentlemen who were using BSL. That really made me stop and think: I can teach and communicate in multiple spoken languages, but I wasn’t able to do the same with someone who uses sign language.
That moment inspired me to start learning BSL. I’m fascinated by how we can express complex ideas, thoughts, and emotions just through our hands, face, and body. It’s such a rich and visual way to communicate, and I’m excited to keep learning and connecting with others in this community.
