Hi, I’m learning BSL because my partner suffers from hearing loss and, even with the use of hearing aids, he struggles to hear sometimes. Noisy environments can be very difficult for him with the hearing aids turned on due to picking up lots of peripheral noise. I suggested we learn BSL together primarily for us so we can always communicate but it’s also something I’m very interested in learning as I love languages and feel it would be great to expand the ways I can communicate with others.
