Hi I am a mother of 2 young men - one has Cerebral Palsy and because of him and his struggles I have found myself working more and more with SEND children. Originally trained as a Nursery Nurse where I completed my Makaton course over 30+ yrs ago - I always use my hands to talk and picked up BSL from other staff within the school I work in as an Early Years Practitioner.
