Hi Hannah from Birmingham. Well done. You're quicker than me! I had to watch your video 3 times.. I've just finished the course last week. I found it very good to learn signing. I think practice is the big thing and I am not there yet on reading someone but happy with my signing. I have my grand daughter to help me, as she has mild-moderate hearing loss and this is very rewarding. In your video, for you're job you, I think you spelt it with an 'i' instead of an 'o'. Hope that's not be too cheeky😀

Hi al, just wanted to check if anyone is finding a lot of variations between this learning platform and local signing? I understand there are regional variations but are they completely or just slightly different from on here? I'm in N. Ireland and find quite a few differences in the way some words are signed and the order in which they are signed. i.e. ( Name - You - What) vs (What is your name?) (I've just finished lesson 3 so maybe this is explained later) Tks😀

Hi all, I am Brian and am learning sign language as an aid to chatting with my Grand daughter. She is 10yrs and has mild/moderate hearing loss since she was 7yrs. I want to be sure I am not left in a position where we can not communicate with each other, or that she doesn't feel isolated or ignored. Their family has had amazing support from NDCS, so much that my 3yr grand daughterwho has no hearing difficulties, is miles of me in signing. Slightly embarassed Granda😀 Iis also a great to learn another language
