Hi, my name is Sarah. I passed level 1 over 10yrs ago, completed the level 2 course at that time also but gave birth on the day of the exam! Life then took over and many years passed without using sign. Almost 2yrs ago I started working in a school and now use Makaton and basic BSL. There are some parents who are deaf and I would love to feel confident enough to strike up a proper conversation with them.
I am currently re doing level 1 online to refresh my memory before embarking on level 2... again. This time there will be no babies on exam day!
