I am a 4th year primary teaching student about to go into my probationary year in August. I have decided to use this extended isolation time for some CPD! Learning British Sign Language is something I have always wanted to do, however found it difficult to find the time to do so. I am currently completing an introduction course to sign and enjoying the interactive nature of this. Once I have developed a good understanding of BSL, I hope to teach aspects of this language to my future classes of children, as well as use this to interact with someone I know who is deaf and uses sign.
