Sign language is something that I have always wanted to learn but due to studying and becoming a teacher I never found the right amount of time to learn it. I have decided to put my time to good use during this time as I can fully commit myself to learning BSL. I feel that learning BSL will be great for future practice as I try to ensure inclusiveness in the classroom.

Hello, my name is Aoife, I am 23 years old and I have recently graduated as a primary school teacher. Throughout my time in schools I haven't come across any BSL users but I think that it would be good to learn for future practice. I wanted to learn sign language as I have always found it interesting and i do think that it is great to have to ensure that my classroom is as inclusive as I can make it. I am enjoying learning new things and how to use BSL effectively.
