Julie Watt

My name is Julie and I live in Bathgate, Scotland. I decided to learn BSL because there are several members of my family who are deaf. Although they communicate well with non-BSL speakers, I always feel that they are left out from the conversation. I always feel guilty I am not more skilled at communicating. I'm also a primary teacher and have taught my class some very basic signs and fingerspelling. I enjoy it and want to upskill!
