Hello, my name is Jess and I’m a postgraduate NHS student training as a therapeutic radiographer. I’ve realised very few people working in the NHS know BSL or sign language of any form. Therefore, before qualifying I want to make sure I can communicate with all patients to remain inclusive and give the best patient centred care that I can. Hopefully it will encourage others to as well.
