I am learning British Sign Language as it is something i have always wanted to be able to do, also i feel it would be very beneficial for the area of work i am in. It will allow me to communicate with children and parents better. I am working within a Nursery providing one to one support with a child who has disabilities and language impairments. Being able to communicate through sign language will enable us to have a way of communication so that i can meet his needs and wants.

Hi my name is Megan. I am 18 from Barnsley. I am currently studying childcare and will complete my course in June 2020. I have a job working within a nursery supporting a child who struggles with his speech, language and communication development. I feel like having completed this British Sign Language Course it will enable me to communicate better with children and adults throughout my career. I have started this course through the lockdown period, it has enabled me to stay focused and positive.
