Shannon Emily

My name is Shannon. I am interested in BSL for two main reasons. One is that my fiancee is profoundly deaf and although mainly uses lip reading and his cochlear implant, sometimes relies on SSE to aid his understanding so knowing some signs will help (I only finger spell currently) The other reason is I am a primary teacher in a special school for children with MLD and we use BSL across the school for children with communication difficulties. I am looking forward to continuing to learn!
