Hi Andrea. Yours is the first message I have read on here - it really struck me! At school (year 6) my teacher taught us all the finger spelling alphabet. I NEVER forgot it (33 years ago!) . I have always wanted to learn BSL but never had the time - using the little bit extra I have at the moment to get started properly. Even if you just teach them the alphabet, it might spark something in the class to keep going!
