I have started the introduction to British Sign Language course because I worked for 6 weeks within an SEN-D school and saw the benefits to all the children and staff of having some knowledge of sign language. I want to develop my skills in helping children with barriers to learning and those communication barriers to feel more included and able to articulate and communicate.
