Good afternoon, my name is Tori and i am training to be an Operating Department Practitioner, currently in my second year. With the current pandemic, despite working within the hospitals, i found myself with much more free time and I would like to be able to be a British Sign Language interpreter within theatres once i qualify. Although anyone is welcome to bring their interpreters to theatre, they often dont and rely solely on lip reading and theatre is daunting enough for people without the added difficulty of trying to read 5 pairs of lips at once. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance
