I'm learning some BSL because I work as part of the Visitor Services team at a heritage attraction and would like to be able to communicate better with our D/deaf visitors. It's also a good challenge for during lockdown. I'm enjoying the course so far!
Hi, my name is Rosie and I work in Visitor Services at a heritage attraction in Scotland. Shortly before lockdown we had some Deaf Awareness training at work, including a short lesson in fingerspelling and some basic signs. As I've been working from home since March I thought it would be god to expand on the training we received and learn a bit more. Hopefully I'll be able to put it to use when we eventually reopen!
