I work in a supermarket so learning BSL would be very helpful if i were to serve someone who was deaf/hard of hearing. I've always wanted to learn BSL and with the price being only £3 for students (I'm currently a student) it would be stupid of me not to. I had a man come through the till the other day who was hard of hearing and i needed to explain something to him but couldn't - it made me feel awful and realise how secluded they must feel when being surrounded by the hearing community. I'm very excited to learn it!
