Jody Ingrey

Hi, my name is Jody. I am learning BSL as I have congenital hearing loss. I have no hearing in my left ear and a very low amount in my right ear. Whilst I have managed all of my life by lip reading, my hearing is deteriorating owing to getting older (I am 41). In view of this I have decided to learn BSL to help me communicate. I also work within a social care setting supporting young people so it’s vital I am able communicate with you people that struggle with their own hearing.
