My names Tash and I am completely new to BSL. Up until about 2 weeks ago I didn't even know the basics. I've always had an interest in BSL and said I would learn one day (no time like the present).
I work in customer service and have always felt guilty that I couldn't communicate with HoH customers in the same way I do hearing customers. Due to current circumstances (having to wear face masks) I've noticed even more of a divide.
I'm currently doing an online course which is going ok, but I'm struggling to remember some signs and finding it hard as I can't "practice". I don't know any HoH people and I don't want to try it on a customer and fail miserably. Help!
