Hi friends! I am learning to sign because I have just got a new job as a Teaching Assistant, and we have a child who is Deaf! I want to make the curriculum accessible to every child, and assist this child in learning as much as I can. I also think this skill will be helpful throughout my career to help more children and adults feel welcome. I am keen to get more advanced and hope to be able to use this skill in practice in the near future (when we are allowed outside again!)
