I've decided to learn BSL due to a few factors... I'm hard of hearing myself and have recently met a Deaf lad and would like to be able to communicate on more equal footing (he can speak but I'd like to be able to use sign, if I can. I also have a learning impaired friend who is also deaf and I don't want him to be left out of conversations as very few people around here can communicate with him properly. I also speak ASL fairly well and would like to expand my knowledge in BSL!
