I’m learning BSL because I think it’s a really valuable skill to have, in the future I’ll come across some people who communicate using BSL and I want to be able to have a conversation with them. I really find BSL fascinating also so I’d jump at any opportunity I have to learn it.

Hey! My name’s Charlie and I’m very new to BSL. I think it’s really important skill that everybody should be able to have, I don’t see why it’s not part of the school curriculum. I’ve always been fascinated in sign language and I decided to give it a shot when I got given the opportunity at the start of doing Duke of Edinburgh. I really want to try learn it well so I can communicate better with the Deaf/deaf community and anybody else that uses BSL. Hope everybody’s doing ok
