Hi All,

My name is Bob, I am a site manager for a school in the Gloucester area.

I've always wanted to learn BSL and now with the situation we all find ourselves in due to isolation, I have taken this time to do exactly that. I must admit, it is a bit daunting to start with, but I think I'm doing OK.

I do believe that everyone should learn this at some point in their lives, not only to learn a new language but also to be more inclusive of all, not only of race,colour,disability gender etc.

I have to admit I am enjoying this so much, I just want to learn more. 

This opens a whole new world. Like a lot of people who have just started on this journey, one question springs to mind..." Why didn't I do this earlier in my life?" Having said that I am here now and enjoying it to the max.

      Hi  everyone, this is my first post on the forum.  I work as part of the Front of House Team in a theatre and I am interested in learning some sign language to be able to communicate more easily with the many members of the deaf community who come to the theatre. So far I am doing ok in the comfort of my own home but under pressure I get flustered.  Does anyone else find the same problem? I think a lot is down to constant repetition and practice.

      Hello everyone 🙂 I'm Layne. I am about to take my BSL202 and BSL203 at the start of next week 😬 I luckily passed BSL201 last week 😌 I am based in India so it is tricky to find people to practice with. If anyone is up super early in the UK and looking for someone to converse with I am 5.5 hours ahead so will be around! Thank you 🙏
