My name is Claire and I live in a town called Redcar. I am a learning disabilities support worker, who is currently unable to work due to the pandemic. I have always had an interest in sign language, even more so with having to care for those with hearing problems, including my own grandad. Therefore, I figured that whilst unable to work, this was the perfect time to learn a new skill, and be able to communicate better with others. So far, I am enjoying this course very much and I am interested to see where I can go with this new skill and what to try next :) would love to speak to everyone of how you’re getting on and how often you’re completing the lessons.
