Introducing Myself

Hello! 

My name is Cassie, I'm 24 and while I moved to the West Midlands a year ago, I'm back home living in Lincolnshire during lockdown. I've wanted to learn BSL for years - for a few reasons. Firstly, my best friend and my sister have both experienced hearing loss and secondly, I would love to be able to use this skill at work to make my work place more inclusive. Like lots of other people, until now I've not had the time to put into learning something new but I am loving it. Having the structure of the online course means that my sister and I are able to learn together on zoom and practice with each other.

Hi,

My name is Katie, I'm 25 years old and I am a SEND Teacher. I'm confident with Makaton, but have many students who are profoundly deaf and use BSL. Whilst on lock down I thought it would be a great chance to brush up on my BSL! 

I'm looking forward to learning!
