Hi, I'm Olivia😃 I'm based in South Somerset - last year I was employed on a fixed term contract as a Teaching Assistant but am currently unemployed due to funding cuts. I'm learning Sign Language because where I was previously employed uses Sign Language as an integral part of their day-to-day activities supporting SEN children/children who speak English as their second language. I'm really enjoying the course and would love to use Sign Language in some way in my future career.😊

  I am doing my Duke of Edinburgh certification at the moment and need to learn a new skill for it. I chose to learn sign language because it's something I've never learnt before and I love languages, I think any language is an amazing skill to have.

  Hello everyone, Many years ago I spent time working with a deaf person, when he moved on to better things I promised him that I would learn sign language. Here I am finally fulfilling my promise.
