Hi, I'm Bex and I'm a paramedic from the West Midlands. I've wanted to learn sign language for years as I think it would be useful for my job.  I did some Makaton with my daughter when she was little and we really enjoyed that - in fact I still use it now if she's not paying attention during swimming lessons!!  I live just outside Stourbridge with my partner and our three kids.  We also have a dog, a cat and lots of chickens.  I've used lockdown as a chance to spend time developing new skills, including learning BSL, Spanish and how to ride a unicycle!

Hey Bex, same here! (not the riding the unicycle but haha) trying to learn BSL to flex the grey matter and help our patients.

Good to see there's another para with the same mindset. How are you finding your learning so far?
