Partner/boyfriend?

Hi, I'm wondering what signs people use for boyfriend or partner? Like is the one for 'boyfriend' specifically for young people like teenage type years? I'm 40 and I have a long-term partner who I don't live with who I call my 'boyfriend' in conversation, but would that be a weird sign to use in BSL like 'partner' is more age-appropriate? I've seen some variations on the signs so I'm just curious as to what suits best.

Oh, I can't post video here as my computer (a Mac) doesn't seem to support Flash, otherwise I'd love to post videos!

Hi, I don't think the sign for Boyfriend is particularly specific for teenagers.  I'd assume it would be used for all types of gender relationships so I don't see that it would be age specific.  you could maybe use Man-Friend which might give the reader a clue to a more older person.
