introducing Myself

Hi I am Victoria and I am the founder of Supporting factors, a community interest company that offer safe spaces for women in the Community. As a teenager I learnt finger spelling, mainly so I could learn my friends and we could have secret messaging......wrong on so many levels. However in using sign (very limited I may add) I found that I wanted to leave how to communicate with the deaf community if needed to. I took level 1 English sign and then kids came along and work and nothing else emerged........ fast forward to my present work in supporting ALL women I was devastated to realise this week that I was in fact excluding Deaf/deaf ladies....... therefore here I am again relearning and I have purchased 10 online courses for other women to also learn.

If anyone would like to join our ladies Zoom groups that support women with mental wellbeing please let me know It would be great to see some signing faces.
