Hi everyone

I am putting together a Xmas sing a long of 10 songs/carols that a group of us are going to perform outside some local care homes in December. Thought it would be a double good tonic for us and them in these strange times! I wondered if somebody might be able to show us how to sign ' we wish you a merry Christmas' please. I have seen the basic version on you tube but would like it with a few extra verses about the figgy pudding too! Will confirm the version if someone could kindly help. Thanks

Leigh 😊 x

    • Hi,  I am learning BSL in order to better support the students going through university. I have just been offered a job as a student support worker, to assist deaf and/or sight impaired students and, although not a requirement of the job, I feel it would be beneficial to both myself and the students if I can at least sign some basics.

    • Hi all, I am just doing the Intro to BSL and would like to use this forum to practice what I have learned so far. Anyone else like me? I have no deaf friends or other people that I know can sign. I have only done finger spelling, numbers and colours, introductions, jobs and places. But I am working my way through it. I feel like joining or watching others chat might help cement things into my brain a bit more 🙂
    • Hello to all of you. I made the choice to learn BSL 3 years ago and joined up to the next available class that was starting. I have now just started my level 3 but am feeling very overwhelmed by it compared to level 1 and 2. I have been using what I learned before to teach signing to my team mates in work and we have a better relationship with the local deaf community because of this.   I am really happy to be here with you all as we continue to learn and advance.
    • Hi. My name is Shira, i and live in Surrey. I don't have a lot of knowledge and experience with BSL however, i am interested in learning the BSL and support the deaf community. I  am doing a course now but I think that it will help me to meet and speak to peoplein thecommunity. It would be great to get some guidance on who to speak to.   Thank you  Shira
