Hey yall! Im new to learning BSL properly as i have only being doing them online on youtube. I am ready to learn my heart out and i love the community here. I dont have any ear troubles of my own but i thought it would be nice to learn BSL for anyone who is. I am not new however to medical stuff as i have 2 conditions, Loyiz detez syndrome or LDS and Scoliosis as some will know more about. I know how tuff it is to find someone who understands what im going through and i want to be the person that understands what deaf people are going through.       Hi, I'm learning BSL at home as I think its important to be able to communicate with anyone I meet in my job in retail. I haven't had a chance to use any of my signs yet but am practising/revising them regularly so I don't forget! I really enjoyed watching the recent Channel 4 Paralympic coverage with BSL as it gave me a chance to practice watching a fast signer. Bye x

      Hi, I'm also wanting to do an epq in bsl. I can see you've not been active in a couple years but I'm giving anything a shot and praying you might see this. I'd appreciate it so much if you were able to help me if you did do your epq in bsl.   this is how i feel right now i can't find anyone who is doing bsl as an epq any help would be extremely appreciated, thanks

      I’m Shiona. I’m currently on my BSL learning journey for the second time. I started a few years ago but life and a baby happened and I stopped my learning.    I currently don’t have use for BSL in the sense that I don’t know or generally meet anyone in which I would need to use it, but I feel that should that time ever come it’s only right that I’m prepared.       Hello, my name is Zonya and I have been learning BSL for a couple of months now.  I am not deaf but work at a doctors surgery where we have very few deaf/Deaf patients but find it sad that there are so few non deaf./Deaf people that know BSL. I feel this should be a compulsory lesson at least once per week in all schools. I hope everyone is well.
