Hello from a newbie

Hi everyone, 

First timer who has just started to lean BSL. Look forward to using it proficiently to speak to people all over London, although I am a slow learner when it comes to language. 

I started as I work in the law enforcement in London, and have found that our translators (on the phone) can help a lot with other spoken languages, but we struggle to communicate with the deaf. I'd like to change that and learn the language to be able to speak to people from those communities. With London being so diverse, I'd like to take a small step in making communication easier.
