Experiencing hearing loss in youth

It's great to see so like minded people on this forum that don't necessarily have a disability but want to be more inclusive and learn a new skill. It would be great to find people within my own community to share this passion with and support one another's learning. 

I was officially diagnosed (for lack of a better word) with severe hearing loss in my left ear earlier this year, although I knew something was wrong those are not the words you expect to hear at  the age of 26. I've always worked in customer facing roles and have previously served people of the deaf community, I have contemplated the idea of learning BSL over the years but never taken the plunge.

Well, the great epiphany was... actions speak louder than words (Ironic, I know)!
