Hi!

I love learning languages. I'm bilingual and have been learning Spanish, French and Italian for almost 4 years now. I've always been taught, that, as quoted by Nelson Mandela, 'If you talk to a man in a language he understands, that goes to his head. If you talk to him in his own language, that goes to his heart.'. I've always wanted to learn BSL, but I thought it would be too tricky and kept putting it off until a few weeks ago, when I decided that it was rather silly that I could have conversations with Spanish, Italian and French hearing people in their respective languages, but not a Deaf person in BSL. I'm really enjoying it and although difficult at times, definitely worth it. 😄

It felt really wrong and horrible at the time, and now I know that the word for it is audism. Since then, I've started a job where
