Why am I learning BSL?

I love learning languages very very much. I'm currently learning quite a few! I think that it's really important to be able to communicate with others and so I decided to start learning BSL and am really enjoying it!

I am learning BSL to expand my knowledge of the language and introduce it to my 16month old grandson (whom I look after 3 days a week) so that as he learns English, he also picks up BSL. This, I hope, will broaden his understanding of how people communicate and the importance of facial expressions and body language.

i am learning BSL to become more inclusive for when i become a teacher i want everyone to feel welcome and included in my class
