I saw “Signs of Change” by Rose Ayling-Ellis. She puts a powerful case. I think our society should be inclusive, otherwise the message is ‘don’t bother me, overcome your own difficulties’. I am from another community that feels very similarly so this rang a bell in me. I thought I’d try BSL because then I’m doing a tiny bit towards inclusivity myself. I hope that one day everyone who needs BSL can get free lessons.
