Hi, I have had a facination with sign language since my school days but never had the opportunity to learn it.  I work as a Healthcare Assistant in a GP Practice and we do have a few patients who are deaf and some with family members who are deaf.  I decided now is the time to learn - i'm 43 so it's now or never.  I hope to complete this course and maybe find a practice buddy at some point to help with the conversation part as I am very slow at the moment.

I feel we should be able to communicate with people who suffer with impaired hearing and BSL should be taught throughout the nhs/schools etc.

Best wishes to you all.
