I am Livio and I live in Bristol. 

I started studying BSL yesterday and I find it fantastic and today at work I started using some of the signs with the guy I was following. It`s really a wonderful feeling to see the look on his face saying "you understand me/ I understand what you`re saying or I understand the signs". 

The feeling of having knocked down another barrier makes me feel really good and motivates me a lot. 

Now it's time to remember all the other signs 😁 ❤️

      Hi  everyone, this is my first post on the forum.  I work as part of the Front of House Team in a theatre and I am interested in learning some sign language to be able to communicate more easily with the many members of the deaf community who come to the theatre. So far I am doing ok in the comfort of my own home but under pressure I get flustered.  Does anyone else find the same problem? I think a lot is down to constant repetition and practice.

      Hello everyone 🙂 I'm Layne. I am about to take my BSL202 and BSL203 at the start of next week 😬 I luckily passed BSL201 last week 😌 I am based in India so it is tricky to find people to practice with. If anyone is up super early in the UK and looking for someone to converse with I am 5.5 hours ahead so will be around! Thank you 🙏
