Learning more about Deaf culture and British Sign Language (BSL) not only helps you communicate more effectively but also shows respect and inclusion toward the Deaf community. You can start by taking a BSL Level 1 course, joining Deaf community events, watching Deaf creators online, and reading about Deaf history and culture. Immersing yourself in both the language and the culture will give you a deeper understanding and help you build meaningful connections.
